Join U District Next on December 6th at the Neptune Theatre for Through ECO – ECO, the second of three community events designed to engage the community in a vibrant discussion about possibilities in the future University District. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Through ECO – ECO will ask attendees to think about how the University District can be more economically and ecologically sustainable. The event will feature Liz Dunn, Dunn + Hobbes, as the key note speaker. Ms. Dunn is a local real estate developer specializing in the adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Ms. Dunn is the Consulting Director of the Preservation Green Lab for the National Trust for Historic Preservation and also participates on the board of directors of Capitol Hill Housing and the Pike-Pine Urban Neighborhood Coalition.  Other guest speakers will include Alex Alben of Alben Ventures and Bert Gregory, FAIA Chairman and CEO of Mithun. The event will include time for small group discussions, where you can share your thoughts and ideas for the future University District with other members of the community.
