If you make a 911 call it is important, if possible, to provide an address where the problem situation is happening. We have learned from the police that in the event they do not respond or arrive after the problem has stopped, i.e., noise, and no address has been given that there is normally no follow-up by our Community Police Team Officer Brian Thomas or the UW – if UW students were involved. With an address the police and UW can follow-up on the 911 call with the offending property residents and landlord.
