The UPCC has endorsed the U District Mobility Group’s comment letter to the Seattle Department of Transportation. The new Brooklyn Ave station due to open soon will introduce a major new commuting path between the Station and the University of Washington. Four proposals exist for addressing the needs of the community in this planned development. In this letter, the UPCC endorses the selection of Alternative #1 recommended by the U District Mobility Group.
