Good news! Once reported, over 90% of streetlight outages are now being repaired within 14 days or fewer. This compares with up to six months several years ago. This all came about after the city council in 2009 shifted $2.1 million to address the backlog and changed the “run to fail” repair policy to a group re-lamping policy.
